Christopher Stroh is an attorney with the McGuire Law Firm. He represents clients with tax matters before the IRS and state revenue agencies. Christopher brings specific, detailed experience in the international tax practice helping clients navigate the US rules around US taxation of international operations or investments.
He represents both US and foreign nationals concerning the US tax rules, including:
Preparing, reviewing, and filing US international tax forms, planning for international operations, consulting on tax efficient structuring in the US and abroad, advising on and preparing delinquent informational tax returns, and general tax consulting.
Christopher has been practicing in these tax fields for most of his professional career and has worked in large and small organizations.
His approach to clients is facts driven. Christopher often finds that asking many questions helps drive additional facts that can help dictate solutions.
He aims to present realistic solutions by understanding his client’s tax touch points.
Christopher started his career working with EY in Denver, Colorado, and Washington D.C. advising on various tax issues. He has worked as in-house tax support for corporations and with the national tax practice of a regional accounting firm.
He likes tax – don’t let that deter you from speaking with him!
Christopher attended Colorado State University for his undergraduate education. He spent some time in finance, hoping to be a great bond trader. He then earned my JD, MBA, and LL.M (in taxation) from the University of Denver. Work, work, work – and here he is!
Outside of work, Christopher spends most of his free time with his wife while they drag their young kids out into the world to explore the great state of Colorado! He likes to fish, ski, and mountain bike. He is encouraging his kids to learn to like these things too.
